Bye, Ibiza! Hello, Costa del Sol!

In October we had to say Good-Bye to our beloved island Ibiza and start a new adventure in Costa del Sol.

After a little research on the field we decided that Benalmadena Costa is the perfect place for us. We have fallen in love of Paloma Parque and the views from our apartment, one side to the sea and one to the mountain, city and park.

All the birds and animals are free in the park (except mouflons). It’s the perfect place to spend some time barefoot on the grass and play with your kids.

First thing on our To Do list in Benalmadena was to see the dolphins. A boat trip on a windy day was not an option so we went to Selwo Marina as Lettie couldn’t wait another day to see them.

Here you’ll find the photos from that day.

Then we took the cable car for a bird’s eye view of Benalmadena and Fuengirola city. The weather wasn’t on our side that day as you can see from the photos here.

Other places that I recommend in Benalmadena are:

Р Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel centre

– the beaches and paseo maritimo

– the port ( they say it’s the most beautiful in the world)

– the Castle, monumento Colomares

Mariposario and The Stupa

– Tivoli ( closed for the winter )
